Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced HR Generalist to join our team. The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations including recruitment onboarding employee relations performance management compliance payroll coordination and benefits administration. The ideal candidate should be proactive people-oriented and possess strong knowledge of HR best practices and labor laws.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including job postings candidate screening interviewing and selection.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and prepare job descriptions.
  • Conduct background verification and reference checks.
  • Facilitate onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Address employee queries grievances and conflict resolution matters.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive work culture.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to improve employee retention.
  • Support disciplinary actions and workplace dispute resolution.

Performance Management & Training

  • Coordinate performance management activities including appraisals goal setting and feedback processes.
  • Identify training needs and organize learning & development programs.
  • Assist managers in implementing performance improvement plans and career development initiatives.

HR Compliance & Administration

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws company policies and statutory regulations.
  • Maintain HR policies employee records and documentation.
  • Support HR audits and compliance activities.

Payroll & Benefits Administration

  • Assist in payroll processing and resolve payroll-related queries.
  • Manage employee benefits such as insurance leave PF and other statutory benefits.
  • Maintain attendance leave and compensation records.


Requirements

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.

Experience

  • 5 to 8 years of relevant experience as an HR Generalist.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of HR functions labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in HRMS tools Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
  • Detail-oriented with good analytical skills.

  • Thaiyur / Pudupakkam Chennai.
