We are looking for a versatile HR cum EHS Executive to join our team in Jamnagar. This position combines core human resource management with workplace environment health and safety operational oversight. The ideal candidate will handle daily HR operations while actively maintaining safety standards regulatory compliance and environmental protocols across our manufacturing facilities.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Geoinformatics.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a combined HR and EHS role specifically within the Brass Manufacturing Industry.
Core Competencies:
Knowledge of ISO 14001 (Environmental) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) standards.
Proficiency in Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA / JSA).
Sound understanding of local labor laws HR documentation and statutory compliance.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel Word PowerPoint).
Strong interpersonal communication problem-solving and leadership abilities.
Human Resources (HR) Operations:
Oversee end-to-end talent acquisition candidate screening interviews and employee onboarding.
Issue official HR documentation including offer letters appointment letters confirmation letters and relieving notices.
Maintain accurate employee files personnel records daily attendance loggers and leave tracking.
Support month-end payroll processing by auditing attendance and leave records.
Organize employee training sessions skill enhancement drives and engagement initiatives to maintain high workplace morale.
Act as the primary point of contact for resolving staff grievances and maintaining smooth employee relations while enforcing company policies and labor regulations.
Environment Health & Safety (EHS) Operations:
Drive adherence to safety policies statutory environmental regulations and ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 standards.
Perform regular site inspections to detect hazards conduct Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and update risk assessments (HIRA).
Lead accident incident and near-miss investigations; implement corrective and preventive action plans.
Organize safety drills emergency preparedness exercises and training programs for staff contractors and visitors.
Enforce strict Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) compliance and oversee waste management and pollution monitoring (air water noise).
Maintain safety equipment (including fire extinguishers) manage legal EHS registers and coordinate internal and external EHS audits.
Chair safety committee meetings document meeting minutes and lead safety awareness campaigns across the shop floor
