Role Purpose

The role purpose of a Head of Marketing is to lead strategize and oversee all marketing efforts within Astral (MNT & NB Business).

This senior-level role is pivotal in shaping the company's brand image market presence and customer engagement. The Head of Marketing is responsible for developing and executing effective marketing strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives

Key Responsibilities

Strategy Development

1. It involves the process of formulating a comprehensive and well-defined plan to achieve the organization's marketing goals and objectives.

2. Conduct a thorough analysis of the market landscape including industry trends competitor activities consumer behaviors and emerging opportunities.

3. Identify and segment the target audience based on demographics psychographics behavior and other relevant factors. Understanding the audience's needs preferences and pain points is crucial for crafting effective marketing strategies.

4. Positioning and Differentiation.

5. Develop the marketing mix also known as the "4Ps" - Product Price Place and Promotion. Define the products or services being offered set appropriate pricing strategies choose distribution channels and plan promotional activities.

6. Clearly communicate the developed marketing strategy to the leadership team relevant stakeholders and the marketing team.

Team Management

7. Lead mentor and manage a team of marketing professionals including managers specialists and coordinators.

8. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members ensuring each member's strengths are utilized effectively.

9. Foster a collaborative and creative work environment that encourages innovation and professional growth.

Brand Management

10. Developing a clear and comprehensive brand strategy that outlines the brand's purpose values positioning and differentiation from competitors. This strategy serves as a guiding framework for all brand-related activities.

11. Creating positive and consistent experiences for customers at every touchpoint with the brand

12. Conducting market research to understand consumer perceptions preferences and trends. This information helps shape the brand's strategies and ensures they stay relevant.

13. Using data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of brand management efforts. Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) like brand awareness customer sentiment and market share can help assess the success of strategies.

14. Continuously assessing and refining brand strategies based on market feedback trends and evolving consumer need

Marketing Campaigns and Digital Marketing

15. Plan execute and oversee marketing campaigns across various channels such as digital advertising social media email marketing content marketing and traditional media.

16. Analyze campaign performance metrics to assess effectiveness and make data-driven improvements.

17. Ensure campaigns are aligned with the target audience and convey the intended message.

18. Stay updated on digital marketing trends and emerging technologies to leverage new opportunities.

Marketing Research and Analytics.

19. Conduct market research to identify consumer trends preferences and insights.

20. Use market research findings to inform product development positioning and marketing strategies.

21. Utilize data analytics tools to track and measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts.

22. Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as ROI conversion rates website traffic and customer engagement.

23. Use data insights to make informed decisions and optimize marketing strategies.

Budget and Relationship Management.

24. Develop and manage the marketing budget allocating resources to different campaigns and initiatives.

25. Monitor spending to ensure efficient resource allocation and adherence to budgetary constraints.

Reporting and Communication

28. Prepare regular reports on marketing performance and present them to senior management and stakeholders.

Job Specifications

Qualification

A Master’s degree in marketing business administration communications or a related field is typically a minimum requirement.

Experience

Significant experience in marketing is essential ranging from 15 to 20 Years. This experience should include progressively responsible roles in marketing branding and strategy development.
