Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented entry-level engineer to support cloud-native CI/CD and DevOps initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience in build release and deployment processes for microservices along with exposure to modern DevOps tooling containerization and AI-driven pipeline optimization.
Core Responsibilities
Assist in configuring and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based microservices
Support branch management code promotions and release workflows under guidance
Contribute to automation of build and deployment processes using tools such as Jenkins Bamboo.
Gain hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
Work with artifact repositories (Artifactory Nexus) to manage and version build artifacts
Document workflows troubleshooting steps and create internal FAQs/technical guides
Collaborate with team members to understand and apply CI/CD best practices
Use Atlassian tools (Jira Bitbucket Confluence) for issue tracking source control and pipeline execution
Participate in AI-driven initiatives such as:
Predictive build failure detection
Automated pipeline optimizations
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field (Graduating 2025 or 2026)
Foundational knowledge of:
Linux/Unix systems
Shell scripting or PHP (or equivalent scripting exposure)
Understanding of:
CI/CD concepts and DevOps practices
Computer architecture operating systems data structures and databases
Exposure to one or more programming languages (Java Python Go or JavaScript)
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes
Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP preferred)
Basic understanding of REST APIs and YAML configurations
Interest in AI/ML applications in DevOps or software automation
