About the role
We are looking for anExpert Quality Engineerto join us inBengaluru.

As part of our Platform Quality Engineering group you will play a senior hands-on role in shaping how quality is engineered across our enterprise fintech platform. You will designbuildand evolve automated test frameworks and quality practices across the software development lifecycle helping teams increase delivery confidence without reducing reliabilitycontrolor engineering standards.

You will work as a senior technical partnertoEngineering Product and DevOps teams driving continuous testing in CI/CD and supporting the controlled use of AI-assisted quality engineering. This includes using approved toolsagentsand LLM-based techniques to accelerate test creation maintenance executiontriageand reporting withappropriate humanreview and governance built into the process.

Whatyoulldo

• Define and evolve test strategies test plans and automation approaches for API integrationmessagingand system-level testing.
• Architect and extend shared automation frameworks across BDD UIAPIand messaging testing to support consistentmaintainableand governable quality practices.
• Create AI-ready quality engineering patterns including prompt libraries review checklists and reusable agent rules that can be adopted safely across squads.
• Translate business and technical requirements into risk-based test coverage and maintainable automated assets using AI-assisted drafting and analysis whereappropriate withhuman review beforemerge.
• Champion shift-left quality and AI-assisted quality engineering across test design automation executiontriageand reporting.
• Design implement andmaintainautomated tests using Playwright Selenium or similar tools including refactoring andstabilisingsuites with AI-assisted debuggingwhereuseful.
• Author and govern BDD assets using Cucumber and Gherkin ensuring scenariosremainclearstableand readable for both technical and business stakeholders.
• Build andmaintainAPI automation frameworks that support scalable repeatable testing across distributed systems.
• Automate database and event-driven workflows including KafkaMQand similar technologies.
• Use approved AI-assisted techniques to support test data ideas SQLdraftingand log or tracesummarisationduring investigation.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing rapidfeedbackand improvedreleaseconfidence.
• Explore AI-assisted approaches for failuresummarisation flaky-testclusteringand rerunprioritisation ensuring outputs are grounded in pipeline evidence rather than assumptions.
• ApplyLLMprompt engineering and approved QA agents for test case generation test data preparation script scaffolding locatorsuggestionsand documentation.
• Follow quality engineering guardrails including no secrets or personal data in prompts and mandatory review of AI-assisted outputs before use.
• Provide senior technical guidance to quality engineers and helpestablishconsistent engineering standards across teams.

Whatwerelooking for

• 8 years experience in software quality engineering QAautomationor a comparable role including technical leadership across complex integrated systems.
• Provensuccessdesigningimplementingand scaling automation frameworks across enterprise environments.
• Expert hands-on skills with SeleniumPlaywrightor similar automation tools using TypeScript JavaScriptJavaor a comparable programming language.
• Strong experience building andmaintainingCI/CD-integrated continuous testing solutions.
• Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber and writing feature files using Gherkin.
• Advanced experience with API testing databasetestingand messaging or asynchronous systems.
• Practical knowledge of AI-powered QA agents and LLM prompt engineering for test case generation test datapreparationand AI-assisted scripting.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and using test results to improve delivery feedback.
• Familiarity with Jira or similar defect tracking and test management tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate complex technical issues and guide others through resolution.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with engineering productDevOpsand quality teams.
• Working knowledge of Agile or Scrum delivery practices.
• Sound judgement when applying AI-assisted tools including awareness of review data protection and governance considerations.
