1. Role Overview

We are looking for an Embedded Firmware Engineer with experience in Battery Management Systems (BMS) and embedded software development. The role involves designing and developing firmware for battery monitoring protection systems and communication interfaces used in electric mobility and energy storage applications. The engineer will work closely with hardware teams to support product development testing and validation activities.

2. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain embedded firmware using C/C for MCU-based BMS platforms.
  • Design and implement low-level device drivers for battery monitoring ICs and Analog Front-End (AFE) devices.
  • Develop Battery Abstraction Layer (BAL) and battery management functionalities.
  • Implement battery monitoring features including voltage current and temperature measurement.
  • Develop battery protection mechanisms such as over-voltage under-voltage over-current and thermal protection.
  • Implement communication protocols including CAN CAN-FD SPI UART and I2C.
  • Interface directly with device registers and hardware peripherals.
  • Support hardware bring-up integration testing and validation activities.
  • Debug embedded systems using oscilloscopes logic analyzers and JTAG/SWD tools.
  • Collaborate with hardware validation and system engineering teams.
  • Maintain firmware documentation and version control repositories.
  • Support firmware optimization reliability improvements and field issue resolution.
3. Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics Electrical Engineering Embedded Systems Computer Engineering or related field.
  • 4 5 years of experience in Embedded Firmware Development.
  • Strong programming experience in Embedded C/C.
  • Experience working with ARM Cortex-M or similar microcontrollers.
  • Hands-on experience with embedded communication protocols and peripheral driver development.
