Role Overview
YRGMERF is seeking Documentation Specialists to manage and execute the documentation activities for the DISHA project. These positions will play a critical role in ensuring comprehensive documentation preparing reports and developing educational materials to support the project. The ideal candidates will have strong writing skills experience in public health documentation and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams.
Key Responsibilities
Documentation Management:
Manage all documentation activities of the project.
Responsible for process documentation write-ups for district profiles and DISHA-specific integrated action plans.
Meeting Minutes and Reports:
Prepare minutes of all project meetings and monthly state-level reports in coordination with the Regional M&E Experts.
Good Practices and Dissemination:
Coordinate with technical experts to identify DISHA-level good practices for documentation and dissemination.
Educational Materials Development:
Develop one-pagers and short audio-visuals on key indicators for use by the DISHA team as ready reckoners.
Capacity Building:
Build the capacity of DISHA units in report writing and documenting case studies.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):
Develop SOPs for DISHA learning sites and assist the Lead Program Implementation in developing learning sites.
Report Preparation:
Prepare Quarterly Progress Reports (QPR) for the donor.
Prepare annual mid-term and close-out project reports.
Support in IEC Development:
Provide inputs and support the DISHA team in developing state-specific IEC materials through virtual media.
Field Visits:
Conduct field visits for a minimum of 10 days per month to ensure comprehensive documentation and support to the field teams.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
Masters Degree in Social Work Sociology Public Health Humanities or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in documentation roles within public health projects particularly in HIV/AIDS programs.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Strong organizational and coordination abilities.
Experience in developing educational materials and documentation of best practices.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
Flexibility to travel extensively within the assigned region.
