Data Warehouse ETL Testing

As a Quality Engineer focusing on manual testing a typical day involves thoroughly validating software solutions by executing detailed manual tests aligned with specified requirements and user stories. This role includes designing comprehensive test cases meticulously identifying and documenting any discrepancies or defects and working closely with various delivery teams. The objective is to ensure that the final product is reliable meets user expectations and is ready for deployment. Collaboration and communication are key throughout the process to maintain high standards of quality and support continuous improvement. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME collaborate and manage the team to perform.- Responsible for team decisions.- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.- Lead efforts to improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance overall quality.- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Warehouse ETL Testing.- Strong knowledge of manual testing techniques and best practices for data validation.- Experience in designing detailed test cases and executing them to verify data integrity and transformation accuracy.- Ability to identify document and track defects effectively using testing tools and collaboration platforms.- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts ETL processes and related testing challenges.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure thorough quality assurance. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Data Warehouse ETL Testing.- This position is based at our Gurugram office.- A 15 years full time education is required.
