Job Summary
As a Custom Software Engineer a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software components that integrate seamlessly within existing systems or applications. The role requires continuous collaboration with team members to refine and enhance software solutions ensuring they meet evolving business requirements. Utilizing agile methodologies the engineer actively participates in iterative development cycles focusing on delivering scalable and efficient software that supports organizational goals. The position demands adaptability to changing project needs and a proactive approach to problem-solving within a dynamic work environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for custom software development.
Maintain and improve existing software components to enhance performance and reliability.
Document software designs and development processes to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
Strong understanding of sales and distribution processes within enterprise resource planning systems.- Experience in customizing and configuring SAP Sales and Distribution modules to meet business needs.- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP SD components effectively.
Familiarity with integration techniques between SAP SD and other enterprise modules.
Knowledge of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies in the context of SAP solutions. Additional Information: -The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
This position is based at our Mumbai office
