Job Description Tax Analyst - Engagement Management Services (EMS) Team

The Tax Analyst in EMS team at EY is responsible for providing key operational support to the Tax practice which EY for our multinational clients.

EMS offers the ease of managing clients (also referred to as Engagements within EY) in the following manner:

• Providing Operations management support on complex regulatory affairs across multiple jurisdiction
• Managing the end to end Engagement lifecycle management process and reporting standards
• Providing project management support and controlling the cost of managing compliance across various regions/countries
• Responsible for ensuring smooth delivery as per agreed SLAs

Globally tax and accounts preparation activities are conducted mostly in the local countries and hence requires a wide network of EY professionals to work together to deliver to the client expectations. A central team of EMS members work with this global network of EY professionals to ensure clients compliance and reporting obligations across the globe are met on time. The EMS team manages the engagement together with the tax and accounting practices operating from local offices in Americas.

The Opportunity

The job holder will work on several client accounts/ engagements focusing on delivering all service management aspects of multinational engagements.

Operational Excellence and Strategic Reporting

• Client Engagement Management: Collaborate closely with a Senior team member to provide day-to-dayengagement management support for clients.
• Timely Information Support: Support Tax Engagement teams in the Americas by providing timely andaccurate information regarding engagements.
• Risk Mitigation: Conduct situational analysis and propose solutions for mitigating issues and risks inengagements.
• Engagement Process: Understand the functionality of engagement tools and their usage in globalservice delivery.
• Account Management: Assist in preparing and maintaining account management reports to ensureaccuracy compliance and timely delivery in line with organizational standards.

Your Path to Success: Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• Experience: 1 to 3 year of total work experience
• Educational Background: Bachelors or masters degree preferably Finance Commerce MathComputer Science or Business Management
• Cross-Functional Team Collaboration: Experience working in a multi-cultural and team- oriented environment (if applicable)
• Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to changes and operational tools

• Communication Proficiency: Exhibit excellent communication skills both written and oral
• Organizational Skills: Demonstrate strong organizational skills and structured thinking abilities
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Word PowerPoint and Excel with a working knowledge ofMS Office.
