Requirements
- Total experience 4 years
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics including UDS (ISO 14229) OBD-II and diagnostic communication protocols.
- Hands-on experience in Diagnostic Content Development Diagnostic Authoring or Vehicle Diagnostics.
- Strong experience creating and maintaining diagnostic workflows test sequences troubleshooting procedures and service routines.
- Expertise in ECU diagnostics DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) analysis and vehicle fault management.
- Hands-on experience with OTX OTX Studio Grade-X or similar diagnostic authoring tools.
- Good understanding of ECU architecture E/E systems and automotive communication networks.
- Experience working with CAN CAN FD DoIP J1939 or related automotive communication protocols.
- Familiarity with Vector tools such as CANoe CANalyzer and vFlash.
- Experience validating diagnostic functions and troubleshooting communication issues between diagnostic tools and ECUs.
- Proven ability to analyze diagnostic requirements and translate them into functional diagnostic content.
- Experience performing functional testing validation defect analysis and production support.
- Good understanding of automotive embedded systems and software development lifecycle.
- Background in ECU software development ECU testing or validation is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with OEMs engineering teams validation teams and service organizations.
- Experience working on commercial vehicle passenger vehicle or off-highway vehicle diagnostic projects is preferred.
- Bachelors degree in Electronics Electrical Engineering Automotive Engineering Computer Science or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Develop maintain and enhance diagnostic content for vehicle ECUs and electronic systems.
- Create diagnostic workflows troubleshooting procedures and automated diagnostic sequences using OTX and related authoring tools.
- Analyze diagnostic requirements and translate them into functional diagnostic content.
- Support the implementation of diagnostic services based on UDS (ISO 14229) OBD-II and other automotive diagnostic standards.
- Develop and maintain DTC handling logic fault isolation procedures and guided diagnostic routines.
- Validate diagnostic content using diagnostic tools vehicle simulators and test environments.
- Collaborate with ECU software teams system engineers validation engineers and service teams to ensure diagnostic coverage.
- Perform diagnostic testing defect analysis root cause investigation and issue resolution.
- Support vehicle communication diagnostics across CAN DoIP J1939 and related protocols.
- Utilize tools such as OTX Studio Grade-X CANoe CANalyzer and other diagnostic platforms for development and validation activities.
- Prepare functional specifications diagnostic documentation test reports and user guides.
- Support production issues change requests enhancements and diagnostic content updates.
- Participate in project planning requirement reviews testing activities and release management.
- Provide technical guidance and best practices related to automotive diagnostics and diagnostic content development.
Qualifications :
Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.
