Job Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Work with a team of business analysts and product managers fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. Drive the strategic execution of customer platform solutions across multiple projects.
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders (business units users etc.) to understand their needs and translate them into detailed project requirements. Ensure clear documentation and effective communication of specifications.
  • Design Thinking: Apply and promote the principles of Design Thinking within the team. Encourage empathy ideation prototyping and testing to creatively solve complex problems and enhance user experiences.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Lead the team in making data-informed decisions. Collect interpret and use relevant data to inform project planning prioritize features and optimize processes. Analyze user behavior data to improve digital solutions.
  • Agile Methodologies: Oversee the management of projects using Agile practices such as Scrum or Kanban. Ensure the team effectively breaks down work into user stories plans sprints holds daily stand-ups and adapts to changing requirements.
  • Digital Solutions: Supervise projects related to online platforms (websites mobile apps) ensuring solutions align with user needs enhance usability and deliver value. Focus on responsive design accessibility and seamless integration.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Oversee the creation of comprehensive UAT test plans. Ensure the team tests systems from an end-user perspective to verify functionality identify defects and ensure alignment with requirements before deployment.
  • Project Management: Track project resources timelines and progress using JIRA and Confluence. Manage risks and regularly communicate progress to stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other teams (operations legal compliance product marketing) to align project goals resolve dependencies and ensure successful project outcomes. Facilitate effective communication and negotiation.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience: University graduate preferably in business or technology discipline. 10 years of relevant experience in the financial sector preferably in life insurance. Proven track record as a Senior Business Analyst or Project Manager in digital projects. Demonstrated success in delivering complex initiatives within specified timelines.
  • Design Thinking Skills: Advanced ability to apply Design Thinking principles for creative problem-solving. Lead the team in using empathy ideation prototyping and testing to drive innovative solutions.
  • Agile Proficiency: Deep familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum Kanban etc.) for adaptive project management. Expertise in sprint planning backlog management and iterative development.
  • Data Literacy: Strong proficiency in working with data making data-driven decisions and interpreting analytics. Use data insights to optimize processes and enhance project outcomes.
  • Technical Understanding: Extensive knowledge of online platforms websites and mobile apps. Understand technical aspects user experiences and digital trends to deliver customer-centric solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities. Effectively convey project updates negotiate priorities and work across departments at both local and group levels.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams manage project timelines and drive successful outcomes. Foster teamwork resolve conflicts and inspire project excellence.
  • Excellent command of English and Chinese (written and spoken)
