Scope


The Restaurant Supervisor will help manage day-to-day operations to ensure smooth service and excellent dining experience for customers. They will support the management team by supervising staff shifts attending to customer needs and ensuring all standards and policies are adhered to.


Key Responsibilities


  • Support the day-to-day operations of the restaurant including staff scheduling and shift coordination
  • Supervise and motivate staff to ensure excellent customer service and smooth operations across the kitchen and front-of-house teams.
  • Monitor food preparation and service to maintain quality consistency and presentation standards.
  • Handle customer feedback complaints and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with health safety hygiene and sanitation standards.
  • Assist with staff training and provide ongoing guidance to support performance improvement.
  • Monitor inventory levels and support the ordering of supplies to avoid shortages.
  • Support management in achieving sales targets and improving operational efficiency.
  • Serve as a link between staff and management by communicating updates and resolving operational issues.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures including basic cash handling and reporting.



Requirements

Requirements


  • Certification in Hospitality Management or any related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in the food service or hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good understanding of restaurant operations including customer service food safety hygiene and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to multitask solve problems quickly and work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and basic restaurant reporting procedures is an advantage.
  • Flexible and willing to work evenings weekends and public holidays when required.

Required Skills:

Requirements A Bachelors degree in Business Administration Communications or any related field. Minimum of 2 years work experience in customer service sales client relations or a similar role. Experience in retail hospitality or customer-focused environments is an advantage. Experience managing multiple communication channels such as WhatsApp email and social media platforms. Ability to upsell and influence customer purchase decisions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced high-volume environment Proficient in the use of MS Office and CRM/ POS systems.
