Procurement Specialist

About the Job

• Research and identify potential vendorssuppliers inside or outside Egypt (LocalForeign).
• Work closely with all the company's teams to understand the details of procurement requirements.
• Take purchase requests (PRs) from various departments within a company.
• Negotiate terms with suppliers such as price, quality of goods, and deadlines.
• Create purchase orders and tally these with supply requests and orders.
• Follow up on the status of the PRs, and take action regarding the delayed ones.
• Analyze invoices to ensure accuracy of goods delivered.
• Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses.

Job Requirements

Knowledge & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply management, or any related field is a must.
• Additional certification in the field of procurement is a plus.
• Proven experience working as a procurement specialist in a similar industry for a minimum of 2 years.
• Strong knowledge of market conditions.
• Fluent in English.
