Job Description

  • Complies and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to account such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions.
  • Installs, modifies documents and coordinates the implementation of the accounting system and accounting control procedures.
  • Responsible for cost center allocation.
  • Gathering/monitoring financial data.
  • Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual balance and income statements.
  • Prepares asset, liability, and capitals account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
  • Records transactions such as income and outgoings, and posting them to various accounts.
  • Produces various financial reports.
  • Verifies, allocates, posts and reconciles transactions.

Job Requirements

  • BA in Accounting, IFRS and Egyptian accounting standard knowledge is a must.
  • 5+ years’ experience preferably in 2 years in Real Estate Environment.
  • Minimum one year in one of the big four, auditing Facility Management companies, hotels, and/or outlet would be an advantage.
  • Experience in auditing Facility Management companies, hotels, and/or outlet is a must. Or the same experience as a General Ledger in Facility Management companies.
  • Excellent computer skills on MS Office and database.
  • ERP Oracle knowledge is an advantage.
  • A well organized, disciplined, detail-oriented, persistent and persuasive individual with the ability to identify/focus on key issues, prioritize efforts and ensure follow up with timely / quality results.
