Sr Proposal Associate

Labcorp is seeking a Sr Proposal Associate to join our team in Shanghai China.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assists Client Service Managers (CSMs) with managing various aspects of quote proposal and RFI development

• Manages various aspects of quote proposal and RFI development for assigned transactional clients; adhering to agreed-upon BU-specific and enterprise-wide proposal and pricing processes (i.e. collating data following-up with other departments etc)

• Establishes clear timelines to meet client requirements and anticipates obstacles and provides solutions

• Develops appropriate knowledge of the technical and regulatory environments

• Assists in identifying and resolving issues around client inquiry requirements and Covance capabilities

• Reviews RFP/quote requests to ensure initial understanding of client requirements

• Works with Operations Finance Account Executives and others to compile proposal text and/or price response

• Ensures timely and consistent delivery of assigned proposals to clients

• Performs data entry into SFDC CMS and other databases as appropriate (e.g. updates proposal number requests and generating both regularly scheduled and impromptu reports)

• Contact clients with standard inquiries (i.e. clarifying baseline RFP/quote information proposal delivery logistics etc)

• Contributes to assigned process improvement projects and supports implementation when needed

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Life Sciences (e.g. Biology Pharmacy Nursing) Business (e.g. Management Marketing).

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 or more years of direct CRO/pharma experience.

• 3 months or more experience in a scientific or logistics environment.

• Proficiency in English.

Additional Job Standards:

• Excellent customer service skills attention to detail and ability to be persistent while maintaining tact

• Demonstrated computer skills requires excellent MS Office experience (specifically Excel Word Outlook)

• Demonstrated ability to plan multi-task and prioritize

• Demonstrated teamwork communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills

• Proven ability to work independently

• Knowledge of other software applications (i.e. SFDC) preferred

• Ability to work to deadlines

• Strong analytical skills

• Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with clients and internal partners

• Positive attitude and sense of urgency
