Inside Sales Associate II

Under limited supervision responsible for selling companys product and/or services via telephone. Makes outbound calls to existing and potential customers. May be quota carrying or assigned to support the day-to-day sales need of an existing customer. Participate in lead generation strategies such as cold calling to identify business prospects and create a list of potential customers. Utilize designated resources to contact customers and gauge their interest in obtaining products or services offered by Avantor. Make product recommendations based on a need or problem to be solved.

ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL EFFORT (Under Typical Positions)

Typically works in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation and a normal range of temperature and noise level.
Work assignments are diversified. Examples of past precedent are used to resolve work problems. New alternatives may be developed to resolve problems.
A frequent volume of work and deadlines impose strain on routine basis.
Minimal physical effort is required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking standing bending reaching lifting or carrying objects that typically weigh less than 10 lbs.
