Hardware Engr II
Job Summary
As a technical contributor to the hardware design of intrusion alarm system you will work within an Agile team to take part in the entire development lifecyclefrom requirement refinement schematic design and component library creation to cost analysis test case definition and support for compliance testing and certification.
Responsibilities
- Participate in requirement refinement meetings understand the relationship between product-level requirements and actionable hardware engineering tasks.
- Carry out schematic design through Mentor EDA tool according to the hardware design description document apply HPN/MPN/library for new components in Teamcenter
- Support on the cost analysis and alternative components validation
- Implement hardware functional test according to the test requirement document
- Support on pre-compliance tests
- BOM release and maintain in Teamcenter
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or higher in Electronic Engineering Automation Control or related majors;
- 35 years of hardware design experience in security industrial control or automotive electronics;
- Familiar with at least one EDA tool of schematic design experience in Mentor Graphic is better;
- Proficiency in using test equipment (digital multimeter oscilloscopes spectrum analyzers) and the ability to independently author test reports;
- EMC issue analysis capabilities are preferred;
- Fluence in English listening speaking reading and writing.
