Job Summary

Job duties and responsibilities:

Establish face to face contact with Linehaul drivers thus checking them into the yard physically and virtually via Customer e-tools.

Assign Linehaul carriers optimal parking positions that maximizes the truck yard capabilities.

Ensure no unauthorized yard entry by non-Customer Linehaul carriers.

Prevent truck yard congestion by not allowing Linehaul carriers to drop trailers in yard if not authorized by Customer.

Maintain close coordination with warehouse dock POC and dispatch Linehauls to the warehouse and to their assigned door as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Become the shift point of contact between internal business units and external Customer Linehaul carriers and provide necessary details needed to address any operational defects and or escalations.

Ensuring we comply with Customer daily reporting requirements.

Ensure proper site security is being maintained and report deviations if found.

Perform other duties as assigned including warehouse sortation activities.

Job requirements and qualifications

High School Diploma Post-Secondary education in a related field or program would be an asset.

Display ability to work as a Team.

Able to work under pressure.

Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Have the ability to follow instructions.

Be willing to work overtime when needed.

Be willing to work and be trained in all aspects of the operation.

Detail Oriented.

Must Be Flexible.

Good Communication Skills.
