TERRITORY REPRESENTATIVE
Regions of Bas Saint-Laurent Gaspésie and the Acadian Peninsula (Northeast N.B.)
The Dealer Services Department is looking for a key person to join its team. Reporting to the Senior Director Dealer Services the primary role of the Territory Representative consists of acting as an expert advisor and point of contact for dealers regarding all aspects of their store performance both financially and operationally.
More specifically the incumbent will have the following main responsibilities:
Maintain and develop lasting relationships with dealers seeking to understand and satisfy their needs;
Support dealers in identifying their sales margin and operations strategies as well as in their promotional activities;
Evaluate the potential of each store ensuring sales per square foot are maximised to reach established sales objectives and call upon external specialists when necessary;
Promote products and BMRs various commercial programmes support negotiated purchasing programmes during buying shows and ensure increased brand representation and effectiveness;
Conduct various audits to ensure the application of operational standards and BMRs different programmes;
Represent BMR to dealers while respecting its operational standards policies and procedures;
Perform monthly sales analyses develop a dashboard produce reports conduct data analysis propose corrective measures where necessary and create action plans within budgeted targets.
In their toolbox our future colleague has:
- College or university diploma in administration marketing or another relevant field;
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in the retail sector;
- Note: any other combination of education and experience may be considered;
- Strong knowledge of market trends in the hardware and building materials industry;
- Knowledge of the Office 365 suite including intermediate-level Excel;
- Hold a valid drivers licence and have access to a vehicle due to frequent travel primarily in the Bas-Saint-Laurent Gaspésie and Acadian Peninsula regions.
