Strategic Development Program Trainee

As a Strategic Development Program Trainee you will progress through a 4 phased program to learn every aspect of our business from shipping and receiving to sales operations purchasing account management and everything in between. 

Additional duties will include: 

Phase 1 -Warehouse and Customer Service  

• A focus on warehousing procedures shipping and receiving and counter support for customer transactions.  

Phase 2  Customer Relationships and Procurement 

• A focus on customer problem solving relationship building with customers and vendors and providing world class service.  

Phase 3  Account Management and Proactive Sales  

• A focus on business development and sourcing sales expanding the customer base of the business and creating strong customer partnerships.  

Phase 4  Leadership and Operations 

• A focus on developing leadership competencies supporting the team through coaching and mentoring and setting vision and strategy. 

Qualifications :

• College and/or University degree
• Positive attitude and results oriented mindset
• Desire to continuously learn and grow
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills
• Possess a strong work ethic and a high standard of integrity
• Ability to work well independently and in a team setting
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with customers vendors and teammates
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software
