Store Supervisor Forecast Function
Job Summary
- Looking for someone to work through until the end of the 2026 summer season (and beyond to winter if desired!)
- 3-4 x 8-10 hour shifts (3-4 days off)
- **Must be available to work weekends**
- Preparing and serving our full hot menu barista service baking cookies clearing tables washing dishes getting dirty and leading by example!
- Providing coaching and training to baristas to ensure high performance food and coffee standards.
- Managing the café floor: providing leadership and guidance to the team of baristas when the cafe manager is not present. Delegating tasks.
- Managing labour during quiet times.
- Opening and closing the cafe following all open/close procedures and ensuring that the cafe is secure before leaving at end of day.
- Cash handling- ensuring accuracy in till counts and change float.
- Ensuring store cleanliness plan and delegate daily and weekly cleaning tasks to barista team.
- Deal with customer complaints in a polite respectful manner enhancing customer experience.
- Adhering to Food Safe Work Safe policys and following BC Liquor laws
- Maintain compliance- Temp logs fridge temperature logs.
- Record and enter waste daily at end of day
- Receive invoices using Inventory Management software
- Supporting Cafe manager with Monthly inventory counts (As required)
- Report maintenance issues to Cafe Manager and plan service as directed.
- 2 years coffee experience is essential.
- Previous kitchen/food prep experience is essential.
- Previous Supervisory experience is an asset.
- Serving it Right is required.
- Food safe is required.
- Base wage $20 hourly tips (increase after 6 months)
