Software Developer Senior

The Senior Software Developer will lead the automation of the agencys Intake and Onboarding processes focusing on streamlining multi-service offerings through enhanced backend workflows and integrations. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional solutions developing and testing software components and supporting deployment and post-implementation activities to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.

• Review and clarify business requirements with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the Experience Optimization team to design and build solutions.
• Develop unit test and deploy approved software solutions in lower environments.
• Support stakeholders during validation testing and documentation of solutions and deployment steps.
• Design and develop user profile management tools aligned with PB4P goals.
• Enhance Helix workflows to support multi-service onboarding and digital product provisioning.
• Create backend automations for online agreement workflows and provisioning.
• Provide thorough documentation test results and deployment guidance.
• Deliver post-implementation support and resolve technical issues.

• 8 years hands-on experience with Remedy ARS Development.
• 8 years working with backend data and BMC ITSM v9 features.
• 8 years experience in code review unit testing and translating business requirements into functional specifications.
• 8 years designing and building custom data-driven solutions.
• 3 years experience with SQL.
• 3 years developing reports using Smart Reporting and SSRS.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects from start to finish.
• Familiarity with privacy regulations and security best practices.
• Experience with JIRA or comparable bug tracking tools.
• Bachelors or masters degree in business health engineering computer science or related field or equivalent experience.

• Experience integrating Remedy solutions with Web Services.
• Experience conducting design walkthroughs with project teams.
• Proven team player adept at building relationships and influencing stakeholders.
• Experience working within matrixed organizational structures.
• Experience developing ARS code and integrations in a Helix SaaS environment.

• Up to 5 days onsite work subject to hiring managers discretion.
• Must have public sector experience.
