As a Regulatory and Compliance Sr Advisor you will play a critical role in supporting regulatory compliance activities for Westcoast Energy British Columbia and other Enbridge-owned Canadian assets as required. You will work collaboratively with operations leadership regulators and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with federal and provincial requirements while promoting continuous improvement and risk mitigation.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead and support regulatory compliance programs processes and initiatives to ensure adherence to federal and provincial pipeline regulations while minimizing regulatory risk.

  • Act as a key liaison with regulatory agencies coordinating inspections audits information requests and compliance-related communications.

  • Provide regulatory compliance guidance and subject matter expertise to operations projects business development initiatives and special projects.

  • Promote a strong compliance culture by developing awareness programs providing training and supporting leadership and frontline employees in meeting regulatory obligations.

  • Coordinate and manage Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) activities including tracking reporting and continuous improvement efforts.

  • Support incident reporting requirements investigations and emergency response activities including participation in the Incident Command System as needed.

  • Prepare compliance reports maintain regulatory documentation and support internal assessments to ensure ongoing compliance and operational excellence.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelors degree and a minimum of 6 years of related regulatory compliance pipeline operations or regulatory affairs experience; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

  • Strong knowledge of federal and provincial pipeline regulations CSA Z662 and other applicable industry standards.

  • Experience communicating and building effective relationships with regulators internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

  • Proven ability to advise operational and business leaders on compliance matters and regulatory requirements.

  • Exceptional analytical organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare reports deliver training and present recommendations clearly and effectively.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and other business systems; auditing experience management systems knowledge or experience with Enablon/Encompass is considered an asset.

  • Experience in developing interpersonal relationships with internal and external stakeholders including regulators.
