Job Summary

The Project Coordinator assists the Project Managers withestimating project planning and coordinating activities. They will provideproject support through document control scheduling vendor management andthe development of project methodologies.

What are the Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate project managementactivities resources equipment and information.
• Create and maintain comprehensiveproject documentation plans and reports
• Assist with schedule management
• Break projects into specific actionsand milestones set timeframes
• Ensure project information isorganized and distributed to stakeholders
• Help prepare project methodologiestimelines and budgets
• Use tools to monitor working hoursplans and expenditures
• Assist in project resource loadingand management; Labour Equipment Materials Third Party
• Work with Project Manager to tackleproject obstacles provide problem solving support
• Act as the point of contact andcommunicate project status to all participants
• Create and maintain comprehensiveproject documentation plans and reports
• Oversee project document control andpaperwork requirements (contracts purchase orders terms and agreements)
• Issue required Client submittals andtransmittals for projects.
• Assist incompiling Project Lessons Learned for review and evaluation
• Liaise with clients to identify anddefine requirements scope and objectives
• Manage project vendor andthird-party contractor relationships
• The position ishybrid requiring both in-office and on-site work as necessary
  

What SkillsandTrainingDo You Need

• Completion of post-secondaryeducation in Construction Procurement or Engineering or related discipline
• 3 years of previous ProjectCoordination experience or similar role
• Experience in project management from conception to delivery
• CAPM or PMP Certification would beconsidered an asset
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Particularly Excel)
• A strong aptitude to prepare and interpret flowcharts schedules andstep-by-step action plans
• Solid organizational skills including multitasking and time-management
• Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control
• Experience working in specific Project Management and SchedulingSoftware an asset
