Project Control Officer (PCO)

Position Description:

CGI Montreal is seeking a Project Controller (PCO) who is passionate about project performance tracking data analysis and the continuous improvement of project management tools and this role you will support Project Managers in planning monitoring and controlling project costs schedules and scope. If you enjoy tracking project progress monitoring risks and producing meaningful reports to help ensure project success CGI offers you an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact on the success of our clients.

Work model: Hybrid 2 days/week onsite
Location: Montréal

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Monitor the financial performance of regulatory project delivery commitments and provide recommendations to support informed decision-making.
Ensure data quality analyze performance indicators and prepare periodic and monthly financial reports.
Contribute to the automation of reporting and performance metrics production.
Support the implementation of tools KPIs and dashboards to improve team efficiency and facilitate value delivery.
Provide management with relevant reporting and insights to support decision-making (e.g. dashboards performance reports etc.).
Act as a champion for continuous improvement initiatives and support ongoing transformation efforts within the sector.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Strong analytical mindset proactive approach and data-driven orientation with the ability to provide meaningful recommendations.
Ability to structure and manage budget tracking in a complex cross-functional delivery environment.
Proficiency with Power BI Excel and Jira.
Demonstrate the core values of the regulatory domain: adaptability collaboration innovation excellence and positive influence.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in the financial services industry and/or data protection programs is considered an asset.
Strong French communication skills (spoken and written) and functional English proficiency.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level geographic market experience and training and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is 50 000$ et 100 000$. This role is an existing vacancy.
