Job opportunityThe Corporation of the Town of Orangeville invites applications for the position ofProgram LeaderCommunity Services department(casual position up to 24 hours per week)Position descriptionThe Town of Orangevilles Community Services Department is seeking eight (8) qualified individuals for the position of Program Leader. This is a casual position commencing in September 2026. The hours of work are a maximum of twenty-four (24) hours per dutiesPreparing and instructing childrens recreation programs with a focus on safe quality inclusive programming to meet the needs and abilities of all participants in a positive HIGH FIVE Principles of Healthy Child Development are incorporated into daily programming; ensuring daily check of program areas and equipment for safety cleanliness and good pre-program and daily administrative duties such as attendance lists accident incident reports and correspondence to parents/caregivers; completing a post program report on observations; participating in staff trainings and duties as grade ten (10).Various skills that may relate to crafts sports skating and arts for specific skills related to working with communication skills to ensure positive interaction with participants parents/caregivers other staff and Range: $17.95 to $21.00 Band 1 on the Towns 2026 Pay note:Successful candidates will be required to complete a background check including a vulnerable sector check as permitted under Ontarios Police Record Checks Reform Act and in accordance with the duties of the candidates are invited to apply no later than 4 p.m. on July 24 2026.
