Job Title: Production Support Engineer - Wealth Management

Location: Toronto ON (Hybrid 4 days WFO)

Primary Skills Required

Experience troubleshooting application and database issues using tools like Dynatrace OpenShift (OCP) Elastic/Kibana
Strong knowledge of MongoDB services Linux environments and Windows-based IIS servers
Experience with Kafka
Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server MongoDB C#
Strong understanding of Windows and Linux/Unix operating systems
Experience with cloud-hosted applications (Microsoft Azure OpenShift S3)
Knowledge of SQL queries and database performance monitoring
Exposure to DevOps and SRE practices
Experience automating routine database/infrastructure administration tasks

Role Overview

The Application Support Analyst will support various applications within CWM (Canadian Wealth Management) and USWM (US Wealth Management). You will work closely with onshore/offshore teams QA development enterprise teams and business users to ensure smooth application operations and support.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality application support in collaboration with support teams
Manage application servers infrastructure and maintain server cyber hygiene
Support backend jobs and processes to meet SLA and business requirements
Participate or lead development testing planning and implementation of fixes/projects
Facilitate application transitions from development to production
Manage Disaster Recovery (DR) exercises
Identify and implement automation and process improvement opportunities
Maintain support documentation and procedures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective integration into RBC processes

Must Have Skills

Experience in production support root cause analysis and long-term issue resolution
3 years experience in:
- SQL Server () Sybase
- C# XML HTML5 JavaScript
OS: Windows Server () Linux VM environments
Cloud: Azure / PCF
Web Services: SOAP WCF REST APIs Web Services
Reporting: SSRS
Data tools: ETL DataStage SSIS
Nice to Have
DB2 AIX Azure experience
Elastic Search Kibana
RPA Ansible automation
Jira Confluence SharePoint administration
Strong communication skills
