Risk Management Lead Nuclear
Job Summary
Join one of Canadas most significant nuclear infrastructure programs. As Risk Director you will establish and lead the risk management function for a multi-billion-dollar nuclear project from programme inception through delivery. Working alongside executive leadership and key client stakeholders you will shape strategic decision making contingency planning and programme governance on a nationally significant asset.
Location: Kincardine Ontario (Hybrid)
Located on the shores of Lake Huron Kincardine offers an exceptional quality of life short commutes access to outdoor recreation and a lower cost of living compared to major urban centres.
This position is primarily project-site focused. Reasonable flexibility and hybrid working arrangements are available; however regular presence at the Kincardine project site is required.
We encourage applications from experienced nuclear professionals in Canada the UK and other international markets. Candidates must be willing to relocate or commute regularly to the project site. Relocation and visa sponsorship support may be available for exceptional candidates.
- Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive risk management framework right from program inception and tailored to large-scale infrastructure delivery.
- Facilitate risk identification qualitative and quantitative analysis and mitigation planning across all project phases.
- Maintain and manage risk registers ensuring risks are accurately assessed categorized and updated.
- Be a strong communicator willing to challenge and drive efficiencies as well as able to articulate challenges and key messages to C-Suite and Board.
- Proficient experience in leading integrated quantitative schedule and cost risk analysis (QSRA and QCRA)
- Conduct advanced risk modeling (e.g. Monte Carlo simulations) to support contingency planning and decision-making.
- Integrate risk insights into project controls including cost and schedule forecasts.
- Deliver clear actionable risk reporting and dashboards to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Organize and lead risk workshops training sessions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure alignment with industry best practices and regulatory standards for risk governance.
Qualifications :
Required
- 15 years in project delivery and risk management
- Experience leading risk functions on major capital projects
- QSRA/QCRA expertise
- Executive-level stakeholder engagement
Preferred
- Nuclear project experience
- PMI-RMP/AACE certification
- Safran PRA or @Risk experience
- International nuclear project exposure

The base salary range for this full-time role is $130000 - $350000 per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range depending on candidates experience and qualifications.
