Production Supervisor

Location: Aurora Ontario
Shift: 12-Hour Rotating Continental Shift (7:00 AM 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
Salary: $75000 $80000 CAD

A manufacturing company in Aurora Ontario is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead plant floor operations within a high-volume plastics/packaging environment. The successful candidate will oversee production activities drive operational performance and ensure safety quality and productivity targets are consistently achieved.

• Supervise daily production operations during assigned shift
• Ensure production schedules and operational targets are achieved
• Coordinate mold changeovers machine startups and line readiness
• Monitor production performance including downtime scrap and efficiency metrics
• Enforce plant safety standards GMP and SOP compliance
• Lead coach and support production associates and team leads
• Manage staffing and shift coverage requirements
• Troubleshoot production process and equipment issues
• Collaborate with Quality and Maintenance teams to resolve operational issues
• Support Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate shift reports ERP entries and production documentation
• Ensure effective communication between shifts

• 2 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience leading production teams in a plant setting
• Strong understanding of production operations and workflow management
• Ability to monitor production KPIs and team performance
• Strong leadership communication and problem-solving skills

• Experience in plastic injection molding environments
• Hands-on experience with mold setup changeovers and troubleshooting
• Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience
• Experience using ERP systems in manufacturing
• Exposure to automotive or high-volume manufacturing environments
• Forklift or crane certification considered an asset
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred
