Production Operator I

We are looking for a Production Operator (2pm - 10:30pm M-F) to join our team in Kingston and play a critical role in supporting a wide range of activities for the production process; including packaging cleaning formulation and material movement.

What youll do:

• Calculate weigh and charge raw materials. Operate all processing equipment including blenders mixers mills dryers all operating procedures written and verbal.
• Weigh and label finished products complete all production documentation.
• Perform in-process quality analysis tests. Participate in continuous improvement programs.
• Clean equipment and work area per standardized procedures.

What youll bring:

• Ability to lift 23kg multiple times per day. Ability to work a 12-hour shift.
• Flexibility to work different shifts.
• Ability to operate and maintain equipment according to safety environmental and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.
• Ability to work in an environment that is not climate controlled. Color and dust particles may be present in the air or throughout the facility. Allergens may be present in the air.
• High School diploma or equivalent. (Prior chemical manufacturing experience preferred).

Position is available due to additional new headcount. The hourly rate for this position is $27.00 per hour CAD.
