Operations and Graphic Design Support
Job Summary
WWP Architects Planners Inc. is looking for a motivated proactive and highly collaborative Operations Assistant and Graphic Designer to join our team. This role would support the studio and team in a wide range of tasks including general administration executive team support graphic design marketing BD assistance and reception duties.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized have a high attention to detail and excellent communication skills. This position will be required to be in-office.
This is a full-time position however we are open to a part-time position for the right candidate.
Role and Responsibilities
Studio Operations:
- Maintain efficiency within the office by being the point person for all studio-related accounts such as maintenance shipping and office supplies.
- Support the day-to-day needs of the physical office (supply ordering general studio maintenance).
- Monitor and assist with administrative tasks throughout the office as needed.
- Organize and execute office-wide events and activities.
- Event coordination (food & beverages graphics and invitations) for client events (1 to 2 per year).
HR Team:
- Support the Regional HR team in the full recruiting cycle for all BC related hires including job postings resume collection interview coordination reference checks and employee onboarding.
Executive Team:
- Aid the team in keeping up to date with relevant provincial policies.
- Assist the Executive Operations Manager with Principal support as needed in the Vancouver Studio including scheduling travel booking reservations and expense reports.
- Work with the Executive Operations Manager to maintain seamless communication between the Toronto and Vancouver Studios.
Graphic Design Support:
- Graphic design support for both project and business development assets (diagrams booklets presentations etc.)
- CRM (Customer Relationship Management) data entries/updates where needed (new contacts project opportunities etc.)
- Desktop research on specific business development opportunities.
Qualifications :
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Microsoft Office Suite expert user (Excel and Word required).
- Adobe Suite experience.
- Strong attention to detail organizational problem solving and time-management skills.
- Background in Customer Service considered an asset.
- Adaptable quick learner.
- Excellent listening interpersonal and communication skills.
- Works well independently and in a team.
- A college diploma or university degree in Human Resources Business Administration or equivalent is considered an asset.
- Prior experience working within the design industry considered an asset.

The salary range for this role is $60000 to $65000 commensurate based on experience.
