Network and Security Technician

ABOUT THIS POSITION

Digital Extremes is seeking a Network and Security Technician to join our IT team in London you thrive on solving complex technical challenges and contributing to a secure high-availability service for millions of players we encourage you to apply.

Please note this is an onsite position at our London Ontario studio.

• Provide comprehensive support for internal stakeholders regarding connectivity and security concerns.
• Address and resolve incoming tickets pertaining to network performance and security systems.
• Deliver technical guidance to staff for troubleshooting network-related obstacles.
• Manage user accounts on a variety of network and security platforms: 2FA remote access wireless voip etc.
• Engage in active monitoring of network and security platforms to uphold the integrity of our high-availability services.
• Maintain a consistent onsite presence at our studio location.
• Demonstrate superior interpersonal communication and the capacity to manage diverse priorities in a rapid-deployment setting.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

• 2 years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrated knowledge of how core network and security protocols function (e.g. TCP/IP DNS DHCP VPNs).
• Familiarity with critical security systems including Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) and Network and Security Monitoring platforms.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Completion of a program in network/systems administration is preferred.
