We are looking for a Millwright to help support our Maintenance Department.

This position is currently open and reflects a replacement position due to an internal transfer promotion or departure.

The salary range for this position is $38.00 to $40.00 per hour commensurate with experience education and internal equity. This range is provided to ensure clarity and promote equitable access to employment opportunities.

• troubleshoot
• decide on repair
• fabricate or order parts
• ensure proper function on completion
• Preventative and Predictive Maintenance
• check operator malfunction report and respond
• prioritize repairs
• do PMs according to schedule
• Modifications for production improvements
• observe machine operation suggesting improvements
• engineering of equipment
• taking ideas from floor and assessing viability
• General Repairs
• Gear Boxes and Drive systems
• service air compressors
• Hydraulics Pneumatics
• Machining welding and fabricating of parts
• complete rebuilds on all equipment to manufacturers specs
• Trouble Shooting

When your expertise drives us:

Professional background:

Requires a Mechanical Millwright 433A licence.

• Excellent knowledge of Mechanical Systems Power Transmissions systems Hydraulics and Pneumatic systems
• Operation of precision machine shop equipment
• Knowledge of GMAW (MIG) Welding process
• Able to read and interpret mechanical Hydraulic and Pneumatic drawings and schematics
• Familiar with the use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) an asset
