Underground Mining Millwright

Noble is seeking hard working motivated individuals to join our team as a millwright in the fast-paced mining industry. The successful individuals will be responsible for working as part of the Noble team to help develop and maintain the construction sites.

Position Title: Millwright

Location: Mosaic K3 Underground

Position Type: This is a project-specific position with an anticipated duration of approximately 6 months.

Schedule: Employees will work a two-week on two-week off night shift rotation.

Travel/LOA: Compensation provided to and from the work site for each turnaround provided all company travel eligibility requirements are met. As well as a daily living out allowance for employees who meet and provide eligibility requirements.

Closing:Position will remain open until a successful candidate is hired

Responsibilities:

• Operating various pieces of equipment
  
• Follow Noble and Mosaic safety policies
• Participate in safety meeting and toolbox talk with supervision
• Gathering and staging various materials to complete construction task
• Read blueprints diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
• Install align dismantle and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment such as pumps fans tank conveyors furnaces and generators according to layout plans using hand and power tools
• Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts
• Operate machine tools such as grinders impacts etc to fabricate parts required during overhaul maintenance or set-up of machinery
• Clean lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery
  

Job Skills:

• Must hold a valid class 5 license
• Underground experience preferred
  
• Journeyman
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment

Work conditions and physical capabilities:

• Physically demanding
• Combination of sitting standing walking
• Bending crouching kneeling
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts night shift
