Job Description
- Design plastic metal and multi-material components and assemblies using SolidWorks
- Own and update master models and create manufacturing-ready 2D drawings
- Build and test prototypes using rapid methods (e.g. 3D printing)
- Perform engineering analyses (stress thermal airflow loads) to guide decisions
- Partner with electrical manufacturing quality and reliability teams
- Research and apply new technologies for unmanned systems (UAS)
- Support verification activities fixture design and product testing
- Drive design reviews and file release processes
- Contribute to production troubleshooting and continuous improvement
- Required: Strong SolidWorks skills (3D assemblies master models drawings)
- Required: Ability to work independently and apply prior learnings to new designs
- Required: Knowledge of manufacturing methods (injection moulding sheet metal casting welding)
- Required: Experience performing engineering analyses and trade-offs
- Required: Experience with prototype validation and product testing
- Required: Ability to manage timelines quality and design releases
- Advantage: Experience with UAS or ruggedised systems
- Advantage: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Work on mission-driven technologies with real-world impact

Salary Range:
$93700.00-$124900.000The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including but not limited to location local regulations (such as minimum wage) education/training work experience key skills and type of position.
