Job Summary
FLINT is seeking a Materials Coordinator for a project-based role in Fort McMurray Alberta. This position follows a 14 days-on & 7-days off rotation camp accommodations and flights out of Calgary or Edmonton.
What would you be doing
- Ensure that materials are requisitioned using proper procedures from approved suppliers.
- Coordinate warehouse and supply chain activities to ensure physical inventories are conducted material and equipment requests are properly received and accounted for in a timely manner and materials are stored using orderly systematic methods.
- Work collaboratively with the Supply Chain Management and Operations groups to ensure paper flows on asset tracking and accounts payables functions efficiently.
- Conduct continuous exploration for new materials suppliers and processes to achieve the best possible quality reliability prices continuity and delivery to ensure a win-win solution for the vendor and our company.
Qualifications :
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Materials Coordinator in an industrial setting.
- Experience in Mechanical or Electrical/Instrumentation projects required.
- Experience in Logistics Supply Chain Management and/or Procurement is an asset.
- Proven ability to process work orders coordinate the ordering pickup and delivery of materials manage inventory source optimal suppliers and products and conduct safety inspections to address facility deficiencies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Proficient in English both written and verbal communication required.
Additional Information :
This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
