Job Overview
The Manager HCC Risk Management Canada & LATAMserves as the Healthcare Compliance Officer forregional activities providing end-to-end strategic and operationalhealthcare compliance leadership to regional functional leaderssuch asInternationalMarketing HEMA ProfessionalEducationand others.The role hasmeaningfulimpact on strengthening compliance maturity driving consistency protecting the companys reputation and reinforcing a culture of integrity across diverse and dynamic markets.
This role also providesstrategy andexecution of activitiesperformed by the risk management center of excellence suchasmonitoringThird Party Risk Managementand otherrisk management activities aligned with global and regional strategies.
This rolereports to theDirector InternationalRegional Offices andRisk ManagementCOE.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the regional compliance partner and advisor to Regional Marketing Health Economics & Market Access (HEMA)and Professional Education integrating compliance considerations into business decisions and providing practical forward-looking guidance and solutions.
Lead HCC risk managementCOEactivities across Canada and LATAM aligned with global and regional compliance strategies.
Partner withcrossfunctionalstakeholders to embed effective compliance controls into business processes andgotomarketmodels.
Leadrisk-basedcompliancemonitoringfor assessing effectiveness of controls and overall compliance programs across Latam & Canada.
Provide insights that strengthen operational compliance and support proactive risk mitigation
Partner with Legal and other functions to support investigations audits and interactions with regulators or health authorities.
Monitor regulatory developments and industry trends toanticipateand address emerging compliance risks.
Prepare and present compliance risk assessments insights and recommendations to regionalinternationaland senior leadership.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelors degree(Law Business Compliance Finance Healthcare Administration or related field).
Advanced degree or professional certification preferred.
Experience and Skills
68 years of progressive experience in healthcare compliance risk management legal audit or related fields.
Strong understanding of healthcare compliance regulations and risk management frameworks.
Experience supporting commercial organizations in regulated environments.
Proven ability to partner effectively with crossfunctional and regional stakeholders.
Strong analytical problemsolving and judgment skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred
Experience in medical devices pharmaceuticals or life sciences industries.
Experience working across multiple countries or regions particularly Canada and/or Latin America.
Familiarity with compliance monitoring investigations and remediation processes.
Experienceoperatingin matrixed global organizations.
Strong change management and influencing capabilities.
Other
Language: English and Spanish; French preferred.
Travel: Up to 2030% including international travel within Canada and Latin America.
Certifications: Compliance risk audit or legal certifications preferred but not.
