Reporting to the Maintenance Manager the successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day operations and maintenance of building systems and mechanical equipment across a designated area of the portfolio. They will be physically comfortable completing repairs and maintenance work and will be required to undertake unit maintenance when tenants Maintenance Technician youll be:Responding to fire alarms intrusion alarms electrical failures water leaks property damage mechanical electrical and water readings and on occasion resetting a building system when requested by the common areas and keeping areas free of individuals soliciting from customers and or for general presentation and maintaining the development in a first-class manner including ensuring building safety using their own judgement or as directed by to tenant and guest inquiries and maintenance reviewing and managing of parking parking allocation enforcement and revenue collecting as in coordinating and delivering guest services and with team members to ensure efficient completion of excellent customer service by efficiently responding to tenant diagnosing and repairing general maintenance issues as daily building inspections to ensure building systems are operating no safety hazards are evident and the site is required preventative maintenance activities as with subcontractors to maintain key building systems elevators fire alarms sprinklers other similar or related duties as may be required from time to were looking for:Previous customer service experience is considered an working in Food & Beverage environments is considered an computer skills to access maintenance ticketing software send emails and generate basic to other District related maintenance requests as to work with flexibility in schedule to meet business maintaining building infrastructure doors windows plumbing problem-solving analytical skills with a high attention to detailEffective organizational and time management skills with a focus on achieving deadlinesPrior experience in the Maintenance Technician field is considered an assetPhysical Requirements: Lift 50lbs individuallyLifting >50lbs with another person(s)Standing and walking for extended periods of timeRepetitive bendingClimbing / work from laddersWorking overheadCrouching / kneeling for extended periods of timeWhats in it for youComprehensive Health and Dental BenefitsEmployer RRSP planEmployee Assistance ProgramContinuing education supportDiscounts at selected Freehand restaurantsOn-site fitness facilitiesOpportunity for internal career growthWorking along side a collaborative team of likeminded individualsAs Armour Group is a family organization we value our employees and their well-being.
