- Location:Scarborough ON 2121 Markham Road M1B 2W3
- Starting Rate: $38.26/hour (fixed & non-negotiable)
- Shift:8-hour / COP Schedule All Shifts Required
What Youll Do...
Youll be responsible for maintaining diagnosing repairing and rebuilding complex machinery and mechanical equipment. Your day-to-day will include:
- Installing maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment using blueprints manuals and schematic drawings
- Diagnosing mechanical issues through visual auditory and operational inspections
- Dismantling repairing and reassembling machinery components
- Maintaining hydraulic pneumatic and piping systems
- Performing preventive maintenance and supporting production changeovers
- Using ERP systems to maintain accurate maintenance records
- Collaborating closely with Maintenance Production and Plant leadership
- Following all safety GMP food safety and quality standards
What Youll Need...
- Valid Ontario Industrial Millwright License
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints
- 23 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic (preferred
- Strong working knowledge ofhydraulics pneumatics and machine tools
- Ability to pass atechnical/mechanical aptitude test
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role (lifting climbing standing temperature variation)
Schedule & Union Environment
This is a unionized position and union membership is mandatory upon successful completion of the probationary period.
- The role follows an 8-hour / COP schedule
- Availability for all shifts is required
- Shifts are assigned based on union seniority and existing preferences
