Reporting to: Maintenance ManagerLocation: Mississauga OntarioSchedule: This role works an 11 hour shift (inclusive of 1 hour of unpaid breaks)The big picture:Have your careertake off with us! The Maintenance Coordinator plays a key operational role in maintaining the airworthiness reliability and availability of AirSprints aircraft fleet. Working at the center of Maintenance Operations you will coordinate maintenance activities across the fleet and collaborate with AMEs flight crews Flight Operations Parts and Materials and external maintenance providers. This dynamic role offers experienced AMEs the opportunity to expand their impact beyond individual aircraft gaining exposure to fleet planning aircraft reliability AOG management operational decision-making and resource coordination while helping ensure the safety reliability and availability of AirSprints this role you willMonitor aircraft maintenance requirements and effectively coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance with the goal of maximizing aircraft availability while considering fleet maintenance requirements and AME the troubleshooting and repair of aircraft defects including recurring and coordinate Aircraft on Ground (AOG) events and other time-sensitive maintenance aircraft Minimum Equipment List (MEL) requirements and associated maintenance technical and operational maintenance support to AMEs pilots and other the parts tooling personnel and other resources required to complete maintenance are and oversee aircraft maintenance events to ensure work remains on schedule and required resources materials and support are effective communication between Maintenance Flight Operations flight crews and other stakeholders regarding aircraft maintenance status and return-to-service with the planning and coordination of scheduled third-party maintenance developing maintenance or operational issues and escalate them continuous improvement initiatives related to Maintenance Coordination aircraft availability and fleet the Maintenance Manager with other operational and departmental requirements as -call responsibilitiesAs part of AirSprints continuous operational support model Maintenance Coordinators participate in a scheduled on-call rotation outside of regular shift on call the coordinator may be required to respond to time-sensitive aircraft maintenance matters provide technical or operational guidance coordinate AOG or unscheduled maintenance events and engage appropriate internal or external -call responsibilities are shared amongst the Maintenance Coordination team according to an established rotation.
