ENWIN Utilities Ltd. is currently accepting applications for the vacant position of:
Supervisor Technical Services
Location: Windsor ON (Hybrid)
Reporting to the Manager Metering Operations the Supervisor Technical Services is responsible for providing oversight support and guidance to the Technical Services staff and achieving effective operations and service levels ensuring that ENWINs technical and regulatory requirements are met. Duties include but not limited to: Track and report regulatory requirements; research investigate troubleshoot and analyze various processes within the Technical Services department to correct improve or expedite outcomes; provide support in the development of continuous improvement initiatives strategic plans and departmental goals; liaise with other Local Distribution Companies on cooperative initiatives; responsible for new load residential connections commercial connections agreements and hydro/water initial project inquiries; provide approval for hydro/water service designs letters estimates SAP work orders and electrical/water connection permits for customer connections; manages day-to-day tree trimming requirements including customer invoices.
The successful applicant must have the following skills and competencies:
- College Diploma in Business Electrical/Electronics Technology Civil Engineering Technology or related.
- Minimum 3 years similar or related experience
- University Degree in Business or Engineering considered an asset
- Strong understanding of various water and hydro meters utilized in the utilities industry
- Knowledge of requirements as set out by the Ontario Energy Board (OEB)
- Experience working with CIS systems including billing and credit functions
- Experience using Microsoft Office software
- Previous experience supervising unionized staff considered an asset
- Demonstrated ability to lead coach and manage a team
- Valid class G Ontario Drivers License
Salary Range for Qualified Candidates: $104074 - $115638
