Job Summary

The Distribution Centre Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the warehouse and yard. This position oversees shipping receiving inventory control and team coordination to meet customer expectations and operational goals. The DCC provides frontline leadership promotes a strong safety culture and collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.

What Youll Do

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure accuracy timeliness and service standards

• Monitor workflows and proactively address potential service gaps

• Support and guide warehouse and yard teams including scheduling productivity and performance feedback

• Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts investigations and system updates

• Promote and maintain a safe work environment in compliance with Health & Safety and C-TPAT requirements

• Resolve operational issues and customer concerns effectively

• Support recruitment onboarding and training of new team members

• Maintain organized yard and warehouse operations including proper storage and material handling

• Collaborate with logistics production and customer service teams

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent experience

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution environment

• Strong leadership communication and problem-solving skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with RF systems or SAP is an asset

• Understanding of occupational health and safety regulations

• Forklift experience and First Aid certification are assets

• Ability to pass a background check as required
