Job Summary
Responsibilities of Day porter
Sweep mop and vacuum floors in common areas
Wipe down surfaces doors and high-touch areas
Dust furniture fixtures and vents
Clean and sanitize toilets sinks and mirrors
Restock soap paper towels and toilet paper
Safety Responsibilities of Day porter
Follow safety guidelines (e.g. SDS sheets) when using cleaning agents.
Wear appropriate PPE (gloves goggles masks) when handling hazardous materials.
Store chemicals securely and away from public or food areas.
Keep walkways entryways and floors clear of spills debris and trip hazards.
Use wet floor signs and other warning signage when cleaning to prevent slips and falls.
