Job Summary
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with database technologies such as DB2 and MySQL along with expertise in Elasticsearch indexing and query optimization. This role requires a strong understanding of database integration with Java/Python and familiarity with Snowflake architecture. A willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving systems is essential. Prior experience in Fraud/Financial Analytics is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Design implement and optimize database schemas and indexing strategies for high-performance applications.
- Develop and fine-tune queries to enhance system efficiency and scalability.
- Manage and maintain Elasticsearch clusters ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate databases with Java/Python applications.
- Analyze and troubleshoot database-related issues providing timely resolutions.
- Work with Snowflake to leverage its architecture for data warehousing and analytics solutions.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience with DB2 and MySQL database technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Elasticsearch indexing and query optimization.
- Familiarity with Snowflake architecture and its applications.
- Experience in integrating databases with Java/Python technologies.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
