In this role you will:
Bachelors degree in Civil Mechanical Chemical or related Engineering discipline
Registered or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (.) with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC)
Minimum of five years of experience managing engineering or capital projects through design construction and commissioning phases
Experience managing earthworks civil construction industrial buildings or mining-related infrastructure projects is preferred
Experience in mining heavy industrial or resource-sector environments is considered a strong asset
Working knowledge of project management principles including scope development scheduling budgeting cost control contractor management and risk management
Strong communication leadership and stakeholder management skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel Word and PowerPoint
Valid Class 5 Drivers License or equivalent required
Requirements:
Degree or diploma in engineering environmental science or other related subject area
Minimum three years demonstrated ability in the field of environmental compliance or monitoring in an industrial environment
Previous experience in the field of environmental compliance or monitoring in an industrial environment
Proficient in environmental data management analysis reporting and environmental databases particularlyEQuISand MicrosoftOffice Suite
Knowledge of relevant environmental and waste legislation standards and effective industry practices
Valid Class 5 Drivers License or equivalent
$96000 - $118000 a year
The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidates relevant experience skills and competencies and considers internal equity.
