Job Summary

In this role you will:

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Mechanical Chemical or related Engineering discipline
  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (.) with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC)
  • Minimum of five years of experience managing engineering or capital projects through design construction and commissioning phases
  • Experience managing earthworks civil construction industrial buildings or mining-related infrastructure projects is preferred
  • Experience in mining heavy industrial or resource-sector environments is considered a strong asset
  • Working knowledge of project management principles including scope development scheduling budgeting cost control contractor management and risk management
  • Strong communication leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel Word and PowerPoint
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License or equivalent required

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in engineering environmental science or other related subject area
  • Minimum three years demonstrated ability in the field of environmental compliance or monitoring in an industrial environment
  • Previous experience in the field of environmental compliance or monitoring in an industrial environment
  • Proficient in environmental data management analysis reporting and environmental databases particularlyEQuISand MicrosoftOffice Suite
  • Knowledge of relevant environmental and waste legislation standards and effective industry practices
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License or equivalent
$96000 - $118000 a year
The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidates relevant experience skills and competencies and considers internal equity.
