About the role

Internship Start: June 2026
Internship End: August 2026

The Commercial Development Intern will support business development efforts by researching new market opportunities analyzing prospective clients and identifying key decision-makers. The role will also assist in preparing prospect insights supporting ESG-focused research and contributing to targeted marketing and outreach initiatives across Data Management Services offerings. Identify and research potential new business opportunities across multiple Data Management Services offerings.

Analyze target companies and industries to support pipeline development and opportunity qualification.
Use internal systems and external databases to identify relevant decision-makers and key points of contact.
Research publicly stated ESG targets sustainability commitments and regulatory obligations of prospective customers.
Prepare concise prospect profiles and market summaries for internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with RLG Marketing to help craft targeted insight-driven messaging aligned to prospect ESG priorities.
Support outreach preparation campaign inputs and internal presentations as needed.
Assist team members with day-to-day tasks and ongoing projects.
Support administrative and operational activities.

What we need from you

Currently enrolled in University or College and working towards a degree or diploma in Business Sustainability Marketing Economics or a related field.
Educational experience in math accounting economics and/or business would be an asset.
Knowledge of the environmental services sector would be an asset.
Excellent oral written and interpersonal communication with strong writing and editorial abilities.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word PowerPoint Excel.
Highly organized.
Competent when working independently and on a team.
