We are looking for a driven self-managing Business Development Representative to help grow TalentNest by sourcing new business opportunities developing relationships and supporting the sales process through to close.

This is a full commission opportunity suited for someone who is entrepreneurial motivated by results and excited by the opportunity to build a strong book of business with uncapped earning potential.

About the Role

As a Business Development Representative your primary focus will be to identify and develop new business opportunities for TalentNest. You will research target accounts connect with decision-makers qualify prospects set meetings and work closely with leadership to move opportunities through the sales process.

You will play a key role in introducing TalentNest to organizations that want to improve their recruiting process increase applicant quality reduce hiring friction and make better hiring decisions.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys prospecting building relationships asking smart questions and helping businesses solve real hiring challenges.

What Youll Do

In this role you will:

  • Source and identify new business opportunities through outbound prospecting referrals LinkedIn email phone networking and market research
  • Research target companies understand their hiring needs and identify key decision-makers
  • Initiate conversations with prospects and clearly communicate the value of TalentNest
  • Qualify leads and determine fit based on recruiting volume hiring challenges current systems and growth needs
  • Schedule and participate in sales meetings demos and discovery calls
  • Support the closing process by helping prepare prospects answer questions and move opportunities forward
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of activity pipeline and follow-ups
  • Build long-term relationships with prospects partners and clients
  • Provide feedback from the market to help improve our sales messaging positioning and growth strategy
  • Meet or exceed agreed-upon activity pipeline and revenue targets

What Were Looking For

The ideal candidate is:

  • Self-managing disciplined and motivated by performance-based compensation
  • Comfortable prospecting and creating opportunities from scratch
  • Confident speaking with business owners executives HR leaders and hiring managers
  • Curious consultative and able to ask thoughtful questions to uncover business needs
  • Resourceful and persistent with the ability to work through objections and setbacks
  • A strong communicator both written and verbal
  • Organized and consistent with follow-up
  • Comfortable using tools such as CRM systems LinkedIn email phone and video conferencing
  • Interested in recruitment technology talent assessment HR software or SaaS sales

Qualifications

  • Sales business development recruiting HR technology SaaS or B2B experience is an asset
  • Prior experience in outbound prospecting or lead generation is preferred
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own pipeline
  • A results-oriented mindset and comfort working in a commission-based role

Compensation

This is a full commission business development opportunity with uncapped earning potential. Compensation is directly tied to successful business development new client acquisition and revenue generated.
