If you share our values and would like to work with skilled professionals Armour is presently seeking a Building Operator for Queens Marque. Overview:As a Building Operator you will be responsible for the maintenance monitoring and troubleshooting of building systems including HVAC plumbing electrical and other mechanical systems. You will also manage preventative maintenance programs liaise with tenants and contractors and ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations. Additionally you will provide mentorship and operational support to the maintenance team while contributing to capital planning and budgeting efforts. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining the operational integrity ensuring all systems run smoothly and Responsibilities:Perform daily mechanical rounds to monitor building systems (HVAC pumps fans boilers heat pumps emergency generators etc.) noting any anomalies and recording daily weekly and monthly preventative maintenance tasks ensuring proper documentation in the PM tracking third-party contractors during scheduled maintenance reviewing work in progress and contractor reports upon promptly to tenant requests for heating cooling and other mechanical issues ensuring quick as the primary point of contact for contractors performing repairs and ongoing projects ensuring all work is completed according to specifications and a professional open line of communication with tenants addressing their concerns and ensuring their needs are met in a timely utility usage and investigate any anomalies identifying opportunities for energy savings and cost operational support and guidance to junior maintenance staff ensuring all tasks are completed with high standards and technical training and assistance where required to improve the teams skillset and in the planning execution and tracking of preventative maintenance protocols ensuring they align with building operational to the planning and execution of capital operations and building the preparation of building condition reports and help plan maintenance all maintenance activities comply with current legislative requirements company policies and best informed about changes in regulations to ensure the building remains compliant at all were looking for:3-5 years of experience in commercial building maintenance or certification or ticket in a technical field (HVAC electrical plumbing or equivalent).Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC mechanical electrical plumbing etc.) and building automation systems (BAS).Experience working with contractors building operations teams and tenants in a professional problem-solving skills with a proactive hands-on approach to communication skills both verbal and to mentor and provide technical guidance to team members.A solid understanding of preventative maintenance systems and the ability to develop and execute maintenance to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.A commitment to continuous learning and in it for youComprehensive Health and Dental BenefitsEmployer RRSP planEmployee Assistance ProgramContinuing education supportDiscounts at selected Freehand restaurantsOn-site fitness facilitiesOpportunities for professional development and career advancement.A collaborative and dynamic work environment where your contributions are you are a dedicated professional with a passion for building operations and a commitment to delivering excellent service we want to hear from you!As Armour Group is a family organization we value our employees and their well-being.
