Equipment Operator Roadbuilding and Reclamation

Essential Responsibilities:

• Primarily operate Excavators (20 80 ton) andDozers (D6 D10)

• Operate other equipment such as a grader water truck and roller packer as required

• Perform excavation grading loading material handling and earthmoving activities

• Set up dumps for optimal cycle times windrow striping and separating of organized materials for the loading units

• Perform pre-trip inspections and complete daily Field Level Hazard Assessments for all activities

• Work collaboratively with crew members to meet production and quality targets

• Adhere to all Ledcor and project safety policies procedures and site requirements

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years experience operating dozers excavators and other equipment

• Previous experience in road building reclamation work or mining are highly preferred

• Experience using GPS machine control systems is preferred

• Fine grading experience is considered an asset

• Must be available for day / night shifts

• Successful completion of pre-access drug and alcohol testing

• Valid drivers license

• Ground Disturbance Level 2 certification

• CSTS 09 Common Safety Orientation (CSO) or OSSA Basic Safety Orientation (BSO)

Work Conditions

• 14 days on and 7 days off working 12 hours per day
